Kerr Downhole is an independent inventing house focused on developing new downhole technologies for oil & gas and geothermal well construction.

The venture leverages more than 20 years of international experience across drilling, completions, fishing, and workover operations to identify persistent mechanical inefficiencies and translate them into practical, field-ready concepts. Operating independently of service companies enables the creation of unbiased intellectual property, unconstrained by legacy product lines or incremental design thinking.

The initial focus is on improving efficiency in deviated wells, where friction, load transfer, and non-productive time remain major operational challenges.
